This 106-room resort has a variety of rooms from the Sea View rooms to the Royal Suites in the Halcyon Castle, once the summer retreat of the Maharajas of Travancore. Each room has a sun deck and offers a panoramic view of the beachfront and Arabian Sea. The Beach View block with an additional 88 rooms will be opened up for the tourists soon.

Just step out to the balcony and you land into the azure blue sea below. Sea View rooms offer the best vantage point for viewing the beautiful dusk.
Royal Suites at the Halcyon Castle: The 4 royal suites in the castle provide the most luxurious accommodation available in the entire state. The imposing Halcyon Castle, the summer retreat of the former Maharajas of Travancore, stands isolated from the other buildings in its own grove of palms. Situated on an elevated ground and facing the Sea, each suite resembles a villa with all modern facilities. The first two suites are on the ground floor and the remaining two on the first floor of the castle. The in room facilities include antique finish furniture, king size bed, air-conditioning, luxurious bathroom, pantry, branded toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, refrigerator and T.V. with cable channels.
Grove Chalets: Grove Chalets is a cluster of 42 seaside cottages including 32 standard chalets, 4 family chalets and 3 villas that create a village like ambience on the seashore. You have to take just few steps forward to reach the beach. The entrance to the Cottages resembles the entry to the traditional Kerala Wooden Houses of 18th Century with open bathrooms. This open bathroom has bathtubs and Sundeck chairs. The in room facilities include regular attached bathroom, air-conditioning, cable TV, mini-bar & tea/coffee maker. A swimming pool is also available for the water lovers.
